This sculpture combines my family's heritage, French, with my current American roots. This can be seen by the abstract design of the Statue of Liberty. By using key features of the Statue in the abstract design it helps visually connect the new design to its current form.
Photo size: 8x10 Frame size: 11x14 Weight: less than half a pound This image displays the Torre Agbar located in Barcelona, Spain. Its modern double skin system of louvres reaches towards the sky in a smooth elongated arch.
This is a graphite pencil drawing with raised colored pencil drawn butterflies on top of the hands to add depth to the piece. It is not completely flat like a normal drawing, the butterflies look like they are flying off the page.
This is a 3-dimensional piece made of cut wood and mirror pieces designed in a clock structure. It works just as a clock would if a battery is added and has unique views from all angles of the clock not just the front.
A piece of paper is a 2-Dimensional plane. A solid is 3-Dimensions. Folded paper has a fractal dimension of 2.5 because it is an object that occupies space, but upon investigation one can see that it is just made up of a series of 2-D planes.
This piece is a rendering done with graphite powder, q-tips, post its, and cotton balls. It expresses a photo-realistic style, which emphasizes the high levels of contrast between the stairwell and the light shining in from the nearby window.
A vase I made in high school. It took me about three months to finish it completely. The idea came with some help of my teacher in high school. The picture isn't the best, but it looks so much better in person.
